Cynthia McLoughlin is a contemporary American painter. Her stylized work is characterized by the reflective qualities of the metal panels on which she paints.  “I am always looking for new ways to let the reflective light show through”. She studied Fine Art at the Muncin, Williams, Proctor Institute/State University of New York in Utica, NY, and Fashion Design at Parsons School of Design, in New York City, NY, earning an AAS and BFA respectively.  She worked as a fashion designer, married, and raised her children, moving around the country quite a bit during this time, always keeping a hand in creative activities. Cynthia rekindled her passion for painting in 2008.  She has since exhibited her works in numerous international art shows including Art Basel, Switzerland, the Monaco Yacht Show in Monte Carlo, Monaco, Art Basel-Miami, in Florida, as well as shows in New York, California, Connecticut, and Utah in the United States.
